Another Reason to Keep Smiling

Researchers at Northwestern University recently published a study examining how facial exercises contribute to rejuvenation. Subjects were instructed on Happy Face Yoga exercises, and followed a structured protocol for 20 weeks. Like other athletic training, these exercises produced muscle fatigue and burn, and dedication to the routine. They found these exercises helped lessen the appearance of aging of the mid-face by an average of 2 years. Historically, experts have assigned repetitive muscle activity to the fat and bone loss of mid-face aging. If you are interested in Happy Face Yoga here are a few videos to get you started.
